As a general rule, animal claws do not scratch laminate floors. However, this is not guaranteed. Different animals have different habits, and some animals with access to the floor may have sand or other matter stuck to their claws.

The amount of shine in planks and tiles is a manufactured characteristic that cannot be modified.

This is a problem without any specific solution. It is not unique to laminate surfaces, but in fact occurs with all smooth, shiny surfaces. Footprints are caused by oils secreted from the skin, and can therefore be washed off.

There are two rules for choosing the direction of the flooring. First, the length of the planks should extend toward a light source, such as a window. Second, the planks should be installed along the length of a room. The second rule applies best to long and narrow rooms, whereas the first rule applies best to nearly square rooms. When installing flooring in several rooms, however, the overall effect should also be considered.

Concrete floors are capable of storing a large quantity of water in the form of humidity. In older buildings, concrete is usually found in the basement. Because the soil adjacent to the concrete can bring humidity into the floor, it is crucial to avoid all direct contact between the laminate flooring and the concrete floor. In new buildings, the concrete floor may still be slightly humid when the flooring is installed. It is therefore generally recommended to install a moisture barrier over all concrete surfaces.

Yes our artificial grass is suitable for dogs. Because it is made from 100% virgin material, it is completely non-toxic. The grass also has a polyurethane perforated backer with a substantial amount of drainage holes to drain water or in this case animal urine. Note that if the artificial grass is exposed to animal feces, it is still important to remove the waste and rinse the area with warm water.  

We recommend removing all organic material, including sod, weeds, grass and roots. Organic material left underneath installed artificial grass will decompose, potentially causing failure of the sub-surface. It is important to apply a geotextile (a soil-stabilizing filter fabric) to keep native soil from coming into contact with the base material.  

Yes, our artificial grass can be cut to size. However, make sure to allow at least 1/8 in. (4 mm) excess for tucking in at the end of the installation. For more information and a step-by-step installation guide, please refer to our installation guide. 

The best way to attached two separate rolls of artificial grass is to use seaming tape and adhesive. Seaming tape can help prevent weeds from coming up in between rolls as well as hiding any seams between the rolls. Lay down the seaming tape at the seam, add adhesive and connect both rolls together on the tape. Once this is done, reinforce the installation by installing the U-nails, which will prevent the natural movement of the artificial grass. 

Yes, it does drain through the artificial grass without any issues. There are drainage holes made in the backer of the product that allows liquids to drain through. The member will also needs to make sure that the ground/floor below the artificial grass itself will also drains properly, before installing the artificial grass. 

The artificial grass can withstand all weather conditions. It is durably constructed and has a double-layer polyurethane backing, making it perfect for any climate. Because of this, you can leave the grass installed during the winter. Snow will not be a problem due to the perforated backer that allows for proper drainage. 

Absolutely! The artificial grass is made with a UV resistant additive and is up to ISO UVA and UVB standards. It can withstand sunlight and extremely high temperatures.
